Miendale Pty Ltd was incorporated in 1991 by Leonard Brett Althaus, trading as a civil drainage company with high standards and high ambitions. Through good management and dedication to quality, Miendale, now known as The MCQ Group, has grown to one of the largest and most respected civil drainage contractors in southeast Queensland.
Craig Althaus came on board in 1995 and together with his brother Brett grew the company to where it is today. The MCQ Group leads the way with quality and experience having come from a background of 45 years in civil drainage through the family business, SAN Contractors. Quality of workmanship is a top priority for The MCQ Group, earning the respect of local authorities as well as ensuring continuation of work from their clientele.
Craig took over the group of companies in 2009 and has a vision to build the business even further. With a formidable management team the company is expanding more into infrastructure as well as civil and structural works.
